Freezing temperatures in Melbourne

Winter in Melbourne (and sometimes even the summer) is quite cold in Melbourne but the temperature never touches the freezing point. Actually it it the cold breeze that makes you chill rather than the actual cold itself.

However this morning the temperatures touched zero degrees in most parts of Melbourne including our suburb. This happened around 6.30 in the morning. When I got out of the house to take the car I realized that the car was covered with a layer of ice. I couldn't remove it with my fingers but thank God when we poured water, the ice layer disappeared. I should have taken a photo of this uncommon happening but I did not. Maybe the next time.
